Radical change is in our nature
It's a fair observation that technology change this decade is radically fast. However, it isn't the first time that this has happened and it certainly won't be the last.
When Techtonics came into being in 1987, PC based networking was emergent as a viable alternative to mainframes and minis. Section heads clambered for our services to improve their parts of the business, without having to wait for the IT department. Smaller enterprises also immediately saw the value of an affordable and reliable entry into computer automation.
The current step change in IT and Information Management is the global focus towards the cloud and Software as a Service (SaaS), to leverage business outcomes and enable flexible responses to opportunities.
Moving towards a fully online world requires a new way of thinking, electronic tools, business models and experts who flourish on embracing new technology. For us change is natural, we grasp it and thrive as our clients are guided towards optimal technology and information management pathways.
